RUNE WIZARD RENEWAL
Season 20 Part 2-12025-04-22
Change Summary
- Rune Wizard now has a dedicated Wizardry Damage stat shown in character info.
- Burst and Haste buff duration/cooldown were redesigned for sustained rotations.
- Core skill requirements were rebalanced and starter skill changed to Magical Shot.
- Two new skills were added: Runic Spear (hunt drop) and Rune Phrase (Ruud shop).
- Rune Mace and Mastery Shield options were adjusted for updated class progression.
Wizardry Damage Added
'Wizardry Damage' has been added to Rune Wizard characters.
You can check the 'Wizardry Damage' value in the character information window.
BURST & HASTE BUFFS CHANGES
The Duration and Cooldown of the Buff will change
The Effect of the Haste Buff is changed
Increase summary: Attack Speed +10. Skill AG consumption remains unchanged.
CHANGE THE RUNE WIZARD SKILL SETTINGS
Basic Skill Acquired on Creation
Existing: Energy BallChange: Magical Shot
The damage and resource consumption of existing Magic Arrow, Plasma Ball, and Lightning Storm skills will be changed.
The damage amount of the Magic Arrow skill is changed from 2 to 1.
Change summary: Magic Arrow -82 Energy, Plasma Ball -300 Energy with earlier class unlock, Lightning Storm -100 Energy and requirement path update.
'Plasma Ball Enhancement' will be removed from the 4th skill enhancement tree.
ADD NEW SKILLS
Runic Spear
Explosive rune energy created by rotating the runes. Deals damage to the target and surrounding enemies.
It can be obtained by hunting monsters.
Required Conditions
- - Energy: 600
- - 2nd Class: Rune Spell Master
Rune Phrase
Fires a rune containing an explosion spell through a magic ball, inflicting damage to multiple targets within range.Special Effect: When casting the skill 3 times, there is a chance that a 'Special Phrase' activates, inflicting [30% defense reduction debuff] on the target. (Major boss monsters are immune to this debuff.)Using the 'Rune Phrase Skill' together with 'Plasma Ball Skill' gives the best efficiency.
It can be obtained from NPC James in Elveland (Ruud Shop).
Required Conditions
- - Energy: 1180
- - 3rd Class: Grand Rune Master
- - Requires Plasma Ball Skill
- - 10 Points in Plasma Ball Mastery Required

TIP! - Helpful Rune Wizard Hunting Guide
Using Plasma Ball: Set as a sub-skill for efficient hunting (works well with all skills).
Using Burst Buff: Enhances damage. Manage increased mana consumption with mana potions or MP recovery options.
RUNE MACE WEAPON OPTIONS
The options for Rune Mace weapons have been modified. The one-handed Attack Power has been changed to Wizardry Damage.
