NEW MAP ARCANA ARCHIVES

With Arca's help, the MU Empire built the Arcana Library deep within the Forest of Aida to preserve all magical knowledge and records. Access from the outside was difficult.

Since the library was not easily accessible to humans, Arcana created a Core of Records condensed with magical power to manage it. Recording tools responded to this power by moving on their own, recording and transcribing knowledge. In this way, the Arcana Archives were completed, storing vast amounts of knowledge.

As the war against Kundun's forces dragged on, enormous quantities of war records and dangerous magical documents flooded the archives. The Core of Records could no longer handle the load, became overloaded, and ultimately suffered a fatal error.

Malfunctioning magical tools incorrectly transcribed spellbooks taken from Kundun's forces. During this process, specters sealed within the records began to materialize.

To prevent the situation from escalating, the MU Empire decided to seal the Arcana Library completely until the magical power contained in the Core of Records was exhausted.

Decades later, the MU Empire reopened the gates of the Arcana Archives. However, the Core of Records was still out of control, and materialized specters roamed the archives, threatening intruders.

Unwilling to leave the vast knowledge within the archives unattended any longer, the MU Empire assigned heroes a mission: stabilize the Core of Records and eliminate the monsters occupying the archives.
